We are looking for an Account Executive who has a demonstrated track record of exceeding goals in B2B sales and/or a tenured educational fundraising executive who has a demonstrated track record of exceeding fundraising goals and has the grit and drive to make a transition from fundraising into sales. You will assume the mentality of General Manager of your geographic Higher Education territory. You will be accountable for an annual quota number, and you will own the full sales cycle for new logo acquisition and account growth (renewal, upsell and cross sale) to achieve that number. Responsibilities will include:

  • Lead the full cycle sales strategy, including prospecting, discovery calls, product demos, closing calls, crafting proposals and contracts
  • Manage complex multi-product deals to completion, including price and contract negotiation
  • Know your territory and be able to present a clear annual territory plan based on data
  • Effectively manage your pipeline and sales activity within Salesforce with mastery and adherence to our guiding Operational Excellence principles
  • Collaborate with the Partner Success team to renew, upsell and cross sell existing accounts in your territory
  • Improve how we sell by bringing best practices from your experience
  • Contribute to a team culture focused on winning together and making a positive impact

What we are looking for:

  • At least 2+ years of prior successful revenue generating SaaS sales experience or a successful track record of leading and exceeding fundraising goals as an educational fundraising leader
  • Demonstrated record of exceeding revenue targets
  • Reputation for problem solving, being agile, moving fast and getting results
  • Excited about building a best in class sales organization
  • Highly motivated and goal-oriented
  • Articulate, organized, detail-oriented, and the ability to multitask in a dynamic, fast-changing collaborative environment
  • Dedication to what we’re building at GiveCampus, and to helping advance the quality, the affordability, and the accessibility of education

Bonus points if you have:

  • Success selling into the education market
  • Experience in advancement/development or alumni relations at an educational institution or other non-profitExperience at a tech start-up
  • Expertise with crowdfunding, peer-to-peer fundraising, or other fundraising activities
  • Volunteer experience helping a school raise money or engage its alumni (e.g., as a “class agent”, “class chair/ambassador”, or “reunion committee member”)
