GiveCampus is the world's leading fundraising platform for non-profit educational institutions. Trusted by 1,300+ colleges, universities, and K-12 schools, our mission is to help advance the quality, the affordability, and the accessibility of education. We received a seed investment from Y Combinator in 2015 and have pursued a strategy of 'Sustainable Growth' ever since: achieving six consecutive years of profitability and positive cash-flow while more than quadrupling our revenue, our customer base, and our team. In 2022, we raised $50 million to accelerate the next stage of our growth.

Through The GiveCampus Social Mobility Initiative, we've donated $1 million in free fundraising support for programs that help low-income students, first-generation students, and underrepresented minorities. And in 2022 and 2023, we were named to Y Combinator's Top Companies list and the Inc. 5000 list of America's fastest-growing private companies.

While we operate at meaningful scale (we've facilitated more than $5 billion in charitable giving), we’re still small relative to the commercial and social good opportunities in front of us. Every GiveCampus employee has a substantial impact on our trajectory, and we're growing to help schools achieve even greater results.

Our purpose-driven team of 90+ is located across the US: team members work from anywhere they choose. We have a beautiful 12,000sf office in Washington, DC that is available for people to use whenever they want, and we regularly organize team meet-ups, events, and retreats in various locations. We're looking to expand our team with diverse and collaborative doers who believe in our mission and the transformative power of affordable, high-quality education.

We are looking for an experienced customer-centric Customer Marketing Manager who is excited to help shape our partner marketing strategy, showcase and celebrate how institutions use the GiveCampus platform, and support our ambitious cross-sell and retention efforts. You will both develop and execute customer marketing initiatives across email, in-person/virtual events, annual conferences, and more.

This role will report to the Director of Product & Customer Marketing, and work closely with Partner Success, Business Development, and Revenue Operations. You will help guide the overall GiveCampus customer marketing strategy to support the goals of adoption, utilization, cross-sell, and retention, own the GiveCampus Ambassador Program, identify and recruit new case study references, and provide recommendations on how to consistently support and highlight the work of our partner institutions.

Responsibilities will include:

  • Support the development and execution of all GiveCampus customer marketing efforts, with an eye towards adoption, utilization, cross-sell, and retention
  • Recommend and execute marketing campaign strategies and tactics that align with the company's business growth objectives. Provide reports on the performance of these campaigns, offering insights and recommendations for optimization.
  • Gain a deep understanding of the challenges and motivations of GiveCampus Partners and our products. Utilize this insight to develop and execute highly creative and relevant campaigns that enhance engagement, drive adoption, boost retention, and promote growth.
  • Drive engagement and outcomes by building content across various channels, including email campaigns, webinars, blogs, social media, and more.
  • Manage overall customer communications calendar and email template creation for the Partner Success team.
  • Spearhead a customer reference and referral program that supports a variety of marketing activities from thought leadership and PR to sales enablement and closing new deals
  • Manage and actively engage with our customer community to foster a positive and interactive environment.

    What we're looking for:

    • A passion for working at a highly mission-driven organization to advance the quality, accessibility, and affordability of education
    • 3+ years of experience driving customer marketing at a B2B or edtech organization
    • Experience working with a marketing tech stack that includes marketing automation (HubSpot experience is a bonus), Salesforce, and events marketing platforms
    • A penchant for making data-driven decisions where possible, but equally adept at trusting your gut, moving quickly, and making optimizations along the way
    • The ability to multitask and prioritize initiatives while managing expectations in a fast-paced — but always fun — environment strong written and verbal communication skills and demonstrate the ability to convey complex ideas effectively.
